Get a Pix of the action

- ... which can make it repetitive at first.
Amazing mazes... in mazes
With a fixed time limit for each run, you must guide Pix around various right-angled mazes, collecting chicks and delivering them to their target markers. The more successes you chain together, the higher your combo counter grows - as does your speed and the intensity of the visual effects that fill the screen.
Combos are broken by smashing into any of Pix the Cat's foes, or running into his own tale of chicks à la Snake. This makes planning your route around each maze as important as quick reactions as you lead each of your tiny followers to safety.
Finishing a maze opens a gateway to smaller a maze within its walls, plunging you ever further into the level’s depths. It’s a visually exciting way to progress through the levels, but also adds an interesting twist, as sometimes the fastest method to completing an area is to dive out to the layer above it before returning through a different entrance.
By beating high-scores within the time limit, you unlock additional modes and options - including different difficulties, wacky visual styles, puzzle challenges, and a multiplayer mode that is more than a little reminiscent of Bomberman. The only real downside to this is that, if you are struggling, it can take a while to unlock many of the game's more interesting features, leaving you replaying the early areas for longer than you may enjoy.
Fun for all
Pix the Cat is a fast-paced piece of arcade action that will instill an odd sense of nostalgia in older gamers, and simply delight newcomers with its fast pace and style.
